Overview

I took this course in the Fall of 2011 with Professor Dawn Schrader.

Description

Educational psychology is the application of psychological concepts to educational settings such a schools, and the study of the interaction between what we know about people as learners, schools and social and learning environments, people in relation to each other, and differences between individuals. Effective teaching and learning requires an understanding of another person’s way of making sense of knowledge and information, and working from that perspective to challenge and support their efforts in learning.
